Main-Floor Remodel in Rosedale, Queens
Project Overview
A builder-grade main floor reworked for better storage, daily function, and a more refined point of view.
Lisa and Dave wanted their Rosedale home to reflect their lifestyle with more function, organization, and refined character. The scope extended beyond the kitchen to the powder bath, laundry room, and primary suite. At its center, a larger island creates seating for seven, while tailored cabinetry organizes baking tools, pantry essentials, cookware, media, and even the family dog’s bowls.

The Problem
Builder-grade rooms were not keeping up with daily life.
The main floor lacked the tailored storage and everyday function Lisa and Dave needed for cooking, gathering, laundry, primary-suite routines, and comfortable entertaining.
The Solution
Purpose-built storage made an open plan work harder.
A larger kitchen island created seating for seven, dedicated cabinetry organized baking tools, pantry essentials, cookware, media, and the family dog’s bowls, and the primary shower doubled in size with a zero-entry design and built-in niche. New laundry cabinetry and shelving improved organization above the washer and dryer. Lisa also helped curate personal details—from light fixtures to the powder-room vanity—that made the finished home feel distinctly theirs.
High-end finishes now support both daily family life and entertaining, giving Lisa and Dave the elegant, practical main floor they envisioned.
